Job Description:
Seeking a highly motivated Engineering Manager (MG1) to lead a team of software engineers responsible for the development, debugging, testing, and delivery of HP-UX for HPE server platforms.



This role combines technical leadership and people management, with responsibility for driving execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and developing engineering talent.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end execution of OS software development for server platforms
Oversee Linux software package porting into HP-UX, including development, integration, and validation
Ensure quality, performance, and compliance with OS and platform requirements
Communicate project status and escalate issues to direct manager and internal and external partners
Partner with cross-functional teams (firmware development, product management, and customer support)
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities.
People Management:
Manage a team of engineers, including HPE full time employees and external contractors
Set clear expectations for deliverables, quality standards, and execution timel
