Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced
SAP Tax Functional Consultant / SME
to support global SAP Tax processes, tax compliance, statutory reporting, tax engine integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in
SAP Tax
, particularly
statutory reporting, e-invoicing, and SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC)
, along with good knowledge of SAP FI, MM, and SD integration.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Tax Functional Support
- Provide functional support for global SAP Tax processes across SAP FI, MM, SD, and related finance applications.
- Support statutory reporting, e-invoicing, SAP DRC, Intrastat, withholding tax, deferred tax, and other country-specific compliance requirements.
- Configure and support SAP Tax functionality in SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC environments.




- Analyze and support tax requirements across multiple geographies and regulatory environments.
- Troubleshoot tax-related issues and provide effective functional solutions.

Tax Engine & Integration
- Support integration between SAP and external tax determination/compliance engines.
- Work with tax determination flows involving IDOCs, XML, APIs, tax exceptions, and reconciliation processes.
- Support integrations with platforms such as OneSource, Sovos, Deloitte Extractor, MasterSAF, or similar tax solutions.
- Validate tax-related master data and ensure accurate tax determination across integrated systems.
- Investigate interface failures and coordinate resolution of integration issues.

Solution Delivery & Enhancement
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP Tax solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, workflows, and implementation designs.
