Qualification:
Diploma / Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Location:
Chennai / Project Sites – Travel required
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise electrical installation activities at project sites.
- Hands-on execution of
cable laying, cable routing, termination, dressing and cable tray installation
.
- Supervise field instrumentation installation and commissioning, including transmitters, analysers and sensors.
- Manage site manpower, materials and other resources.
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors and internal engineering teams.
- Ensure installation as per approved drawings, specifications, quality and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with PLC, SCADA and instrumentation teams and support testing/commissioning.
- Monitor site progress and resolve execution issues.
- Prepare daily/weekly site reports in English.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in
electrical installation / industrial automation projects
.
- Strong hands-on site execution and coordination skills.
- Experience in electrical panels, cable schedules and installation drawings.
- Positive manpower and resource management capability.
- Hindi speaking is mandatory
for site coordination.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel to project sites with minimal/no prior notice is
mandatory
.
The position requires an engineer who can
independently manage site installation activities and resources
and ensure timely project execution.
