Job Summary:

Job Summary The Senior Application Support / Assistant Manager – Production Support is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical applications in a production workplace. The role involves incident management, troubleshooting, stakeholder coordination, root cause analysis, release support, team supervision, and continuous improvement of support processes to meet agreed service levels.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor production applications, interfaces, batch jobs, and scheduled processes to ensure smooth business operations.
- Manage, prioritize, and resolve incidents, service requests, and application issues within agreed service-level agreements.
- Perform initial analysis,



troubleshooting, escalation, and follow-up for production defects and recurring issues.
- Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, network, vendor, and business teams for timely issue resolution.
- Lead root cause analysis for major incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support application deployments, release validation, post-release monitoring, and production readiness activities.
- Maintain and improve support documentation, runbooks, knowledge base articles, issue logs, and standard operating procedures.
- Track support metrics, prepare status reports, conduct service reviews, and highlight risks or improvement areas to management.
- Guide and mentor junior support engineers, ensuring adherence to support processes and escalation procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, audit requirements, security standards, and change management processes.

1.Application - Jboss, Apache Tomcat , WebLogic - Deployment & Troubleshooting

2.Database - PostgreSQL , Oracle , Microsoft SQL.

3.Basic Knowledge of Windows Server
