CashBook : UPI Wallets for Business Expenses is Looking for:**** We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who can own complex design problems from the ground up, drive discovery independently, and deliver dev-ready work — all without a product manager in the loop. You'll be the primary designer for CashBook's UPI Payments expense management product, designing for finance admins on web and employees on mobile.

What You'll Do

- Own end-to-end design for the UPI Payments product — from discovery through Figma handoff, dev review, and post-launch measurement
- Independently define problem statements: analyse product data, run user research and stakeholder interviews, and structure vague briefs into clear design problems
- Design complex, configurable B2B interfaces — multi-persona dashboards, approval workflows, transaction tables, and admin configuration screens
- Deliver thorough, dev-ready Figma handoffs with specs, edge cases, states, and component documentation
- Conduct design reviews after development to ensure implementation fidelity
- Measure the impact of launched features using product analytics tools; feed insights back into future planning
- Contribute to and evolve the design system
- Collaborate directly with founders, engineering, QA, and support — no PM intermediary




- Mentor junior designers through critique, feedback, and pairing on their work

What We're Looking For

- 4–8 years of product design experience, with at least one role in a B2B enterprise product company
- Strong portfolio with detailed case studies showing design process, decision rationale, research or data-backed thinking, and measurable outcomes — not just polished screens
- Experience designing desktop/web applications; comfortable with data-heavy, configurable interfaces
- Proven ability to work through ambiguity independently — you define the brief, pull the data, and move forward without waiting for clarity to land in your lap
- Individual contributor mindset — hands-on, able to articulate specific design decisions on your own work in granular detail
- Excellent Figma skills: components, auto-layout, variants, prototyping, and dev-ready handoffs
- Front-end awareness — understands responsive behaviour, component states, and implementation constraints well enough to have real conversations with engineers
- Strong product thinking — can prioritise across multiple design directions, run structured ideation, and make trade-off decisions confidently

Nice to Have

- Fintech domain experience (payments, UPI, accounting, expense management)




- Experience designing data-heavy interfaces: dashboards, approval workflows, transaction tables, analytics
- Startup or early-stage experience (0–1 environment)
- Design system ownership or significant contribution
- Uses AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for research, ideation, or rapid prototyping as a workflow accelerator
- Measurable impact from launched features with real product data

What To Expect

- Interview Process: Portfolio walkthrough (1.5 hrs) → Whiteboarding on FigJam (1.5–2 hrs) → Culture fit with CTO and Head of Growth
- Work Mode: Hybrid — Wednesday and Friday in-office; flexible timings; WFO more frequent in the first month
- Location: Indiranagar, Bengaluru
- Compensation: ₹30–40 LPA, 100% fixed
