Role: We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to drive sales and business development for Diesel Generators (DG Sets) in the Dhanbad region. The ideal candidate must have 4 to 5 years of relevant sales experience specifically in the Generator/DG Set industry and should have strong knowledge of the DG market, dealer network, customers, and project sales.

Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for DG Sets.
Develop current business opportunities and generate leads across the assigned territory.
Build and maintain robust relationships with customers, dealers, consultants, contractors, and channel partners.
Identify potential markets and customers for DG Set requirements.
Handle enquiries, prepare commercial proposals, negotiate, and close sales.
Develop and strengthen the dealer/channel partner network in the assigned region.
Visit customers and project sites regularly to understand requirements and provide suitable DG Set solutions.
Coordinate with the technical, service, commercial,



and operations teams for smooth execution of orders.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and customer requirements.
Ensure timely follow-up on quotations, orders, payments, and collections.
Maintain accurate sales pipeline, CRM activities, and daily work reports.
Achieve collection targets along with sales targets.
Provide regular market and sales updates to the management.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and develop long-term business relationships.

Preferred candidate profile:
Graduate/MBA in Sales & Marketing or equivalent qualification preferred.
4 to 5 years of relevant experience in Diesel Generator (DG Set) / Generator Sales only.
Candidates from unrelated industries will not be preferred.
Strong understanding of DG Set products, applications, and commercial aspects.
