Site Engineer – Job Responsibilities
Supervise and manage road construction activities at the project site.
Monitor daily work progress and ensure work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
Coordinate with Project Engineer, Junior Engineers, Surveyor, QA/QC team, subcontractors and labourers.
Check and control levels, alignment, measurements and quantities of road works.
Supervise works such as earthwork, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM/BC, drainage, retaining structures and interlock works as applicable.
Conduct daily site measurements and maintain MB/measurement records and daily progress reports.
Ensure proper material utilization, workmanship and productivity at site.
Coordinate with the Surveyor for setting out, levels and road alignment.
Ensure construction is carried out according to PWD/KRFB/KIIFB specifications and approved drawings, where applicable.
Coordinate with the QA/QC Engineer for inspections,



testing and quality control.
Identify site issues and coordinate with the Project Engineer for timely solutions.
Monitor labour, machinery and material requirements and report shortages in advance.
Prepare daily/weekly progress updates and communicate site requirements to management.
Ensure proper safety practices and traffic management at the construction site.
Maintain proper records of site activities, materials, machinery and manpower.
Should be willing to work at road construction sites in Kerala, including difficult/ghat-road locations.

Preferred Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with relevant road construction site experience.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
