About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented
Accountant
to manage the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities of our business.

The ideal candidate should have
strong fundamentals in accounting
, be comfortable working independently, and have a good understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoices, payments, and basic financial controls.

We primarily use
Zoho Books
, so prior experience with Zoho Books will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate day-to-day books of accounts
Record purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses, receipts, and payments
Verify bills and supporting documents before recording transactions
Perform regular
bank reconciliations
and ensure books match bank transactions
Manage accounts payable and track outstanding payments
Prepare and process day-to-day vendor and business payments
Maintain proper records of customer and supplier accounts




Monitor receivables and payables and follow up on outstanding items
Assist with GST and other statutory accounting requirements
Maintain accurate ledgers and supporting documentation
Identify discrepancies, missing entries, or unusual transactions and resolve them promptly
Assist management with basic financial reports and accounting information
Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and up to date

What We Are Looking For
Robust understanding of
fundamental accounting principles
Positive knowledge of bookkeeping and double-entry accounting
Comfortable with bank reconciliation and ledger management
Good understanding of invoices, expenses, receivables, payables, and payments
Working knowledge of GST and basic statutory compliance
Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
Experience with
Zoho Books
is preferred
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to take ownership of routine accounting activities
