A Tender Executive manages the entire tender lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and analyzing requirements to preparing, submitting, and following up on bids, ensuring compliance and coordination across departments to meet deadlines for government and private sector projects, focusing heavily on documentation, technical/financial aspects, and client communication. Key Responsibilities
Tender Identification & Analysis: Monitor portals (GeM, CPPP, etc.), analyze RFPs/RFQs, check eligibility/feasibility, and evaluate business fit.
Bid Preparation: Compile technical/financial proposals, prepare e-tender documents, create comparative statements, and manage documentation.
Coordination: Liaise with internal teams (sales, technical, finance) and external vendors/OEMs for information and support.
Submission & Follow-up: Ensure timely submission, manage deadlines, follow up with clients, and track bid status.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records, manage bid repositories,
and ensure compliance with regulations.
Client Interaction: Handle client queries, clarify bid conditions, and assist in contract negotiation.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Skills: Solid project management, analytical, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills; attention to detail; MS Office proficiency.
Experience: Proven experience in tendering, procurement, or bid management.
Knowledge: Understanding of tender processes, procurement norms, and e-tendering platforms.
