Credit Underwriting- 4+ Years - Mumbai

We are seeking an experienced qualified with 4+ years of core Credit Underwriting experience, preferably from the Banking sector. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in credit assessment, financial analysis, risk evaluation, and underwriting. Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate and underwrite credit proposals by assessing the financial strength, creditworthiness, and repayment capacity of borrowers.

2. Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements, credit history, cash flows, and key financial ratios to assess credit risk.

Identify potential credit risks and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures in line with underwriting policies.

4. Prepare and maintain detailed credit appraisal reports, underwriting decisions, and supporting documentation.

5. Collaborate with business, risk, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective credit decisions.

Requirements:

1. 4+ years of core Credit Underwriting experience, with strong expertise in credit assessment, financial analysis, and risk evaluation.

2. Mandatory experience in the Banking sector, preferably across Corporate, Commercial, Wholesale, or Business Banking.

3. Strong understanding of financial statements, credit appraisal, underwriting principles, and credit risk assessment.

4. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to independently assess credit proposals.
