Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care
- Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders (diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, metabolic syndrome, obesity, osteoporosis).
- Provide consultations for complex cases referred by general physicians or other specialists.
- Prescribe and monitor medical therapies, including insulin regimens and hormone replacement therapies.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Work closely with diabetologists, cardiologists, nephrologists, gynecologists, and surgeons.
- Participate in tumor boards for endocrine cancers (thyroid, adrenal, pituitary).
- Procedures & Interventions
- Perform fine-needle aspiration (FNA) for thyroid nodules.
- Guide surgical interventions when required (thyroidectomy, adrenalectomy).
- Research & Teaching
- Contribute to clinical research, publish papers, and train junior doctors or medical students.
- Patient Education
- Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications, diet, and long-term disease management.

?Qualifications
- MBBS → MD (General Medicine) → DM (Endocrinology) (3-year super-specialty training).
