- Job Summary

The Design Manager is assigned to a project as a key member of the design team, he is responsible for the proper and timely execution within his discipline of the design and requisitioning in accordance with the control estimate and specific requirements of the project. He is also responsible for ensuring that the Group’s technical policies, are followed, considering any special contractual requirements. Ensure the timely completion of design and engineering deliverables. Manage the activity as assigned by Group Lead / DM.
- Lead the design and engineering of HVAC systems across all assigned projects. Ensure effective interdisciplinary coordination and actively participate in client meetings.




- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including meeting notes, hold lists, comment logs, and assumption lists.
- Foster robust client relationships and ensure the use of Jacobs’ project management tools and systems. Ensure all HVAC designs meet client requirements, applicable building codes, and energy efficiency standards.
- Review and validate complete HVAC design packages, including heat load calculations, area classification, pressure zoning, AHU zoning, and HVAC Room Book summaries. Evaluate reheating capacities and conduct technical assessments for equipment selection such as chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, pumps, dehumidifiers, and ventilation systems, to ensure optimal performance and cost-effective solutions.
