Medical Representative (MR) – Job Description

Position: Medical Representative (MR)

Experience: 1–3 years preferred; freshers with good communication skills may also apply.

Job Responsibilities
- Promote and introduce the company’s pharmaceutical, oncology, nephrology, critical care, and nutritional products to doctors, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
- Develop and maintain solid professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and distributors.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct regular doctor and hospital visits and provide product information.
- Generate new business opportunities and expand the customer network.
- Follow up on prescriptions, orders, payments, and product requirements.
- Coordinate with distributors and the internal sales team for smooth order execution.
- Maintain daily visit reports, sales reports, and customer records.
- Participate in medical conferences, product presentations,



and promotional activities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

Candidate Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline; B.Sc./B.Pharm/BBA/other relevant qualifications preferred.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel and make regular field visits.
- Positive attitude, confidence, and target-oriented approach.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical/medical sales will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of the local healthcare and hospital market is preferred.
