Job Responsibilities
Operate CNC/VMC machines as per production requirements.
Read and understand engineering drawings and job specifications.
Perform machine setting, tool loading, and tool offset adjustments.
Check component dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
Maintain required quality standards and production targets.
Monitor machining operations and identify machine/process abnormalities.
Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and 5S practices.
Maintain basic machine and workplace cleanliness.
Coordinate with the Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
Minimize rejection, tool wear, and machine downtime.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC machining processes.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Knowledge of measuring instruments.
Understanding of cutting tools, tool offsets, and basic machining parameters.
Valuable attention to quality and accuracy.
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant technical qualification preferred.
Experience
1–5 years of experience in CNC/VMC machine operation preferred.
Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also be considered.
