Position Title: Design Release Engineer - Tire & wheel
Experience: 4 to 6 years of overall experience
Minimum 2 years of Tire Design and Development experience with Tire manufacturer or at passenger car
Basic Experience in UG/NXCatia V5 modeling , PLM, Team center.
Role & responsibilities
Engineering Design & Development of chassis Components (Steel Wheels, Aluminum wheels, Tires, Wheel Bolts, Wheel & Tire Assembly) for current & current program.
Understand Wheel & Tire testing, development & Homologation requirements.
In depth experience of product development process, supplier evaluation, tech review, DFMEA, DVP&R;, control plan, PFMEA, PPAP.
Vehicle assembly process knowledge and system and component tooling and process experience.
Process knowledge of casting, sheet metal and forging.
Simulation of manufacturing processes (sheet metal forming, casting-mold fill simulation)
