Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a secure, high-performance network infrastructure supporting our healthcare imaging and cloud environments. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise in enterprise networking, routing protocols, firewall management, and a working understanding of cloud networking (AWS/GCP/OCI), along with foundational security practices relevant to a HIPAA/ISO 27001-compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and hybrid network architectures across on-prem and cloud environments • Implement and manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching (VLANs, STP, trunking)

- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewalls including rule-base management, NAT, and policy optimization
- Manage site-to-site and client VPNs, ensuring secure remote access • Work with cloud infrastructure teams to manage VPCs/VNETs, subnets, security groups, route tables, peering, and Direct Connect/ExpressRoute/FastConnect equivalents across AWS, GCP, and/or OCI
- Monitor network performance and capacity using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, or equivalent; troubleshoot latency, packet loss, and outages




- Collaborate with the security team on vulnerability remediation, patching of network devices, and incident response involving network-layer issues
- Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and change management records • Participate in audits (internal/external), providing network evidence and control walkthroughs
- Evaluate and recommend network security tools, upgrades, and architecture improvements
- Provide L2/L3 support and mentor junior network/support engineers

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies

- Solid experience configuring and managing firewalls (rule creation, NAT, VPN, HA setups)
- Working knowledge of cloud networking concepts across at least one major cloud provider (AWS/GCP/OCI) — VPC design, security groups, load balancers, VPN/Direct Connect
- Basic understanding of security fundamentals — IDS/IPS, network segmentation, log monitoring, patching cadence
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-team communication skills

Nice to Have

- Experience with SD-WAN or Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions
