Role & Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end oral liquid manufacturing, filling and packing operations including syrups, suspensions, solutions and emulsions.
- Plan and execute production batches as per BMR/BPR, SOPs, validated processes and cGMP requirements.
- Manage critical manufacturing parameters such as mixing, temperature, pH, viscosity, specific gravity, filtration and bulk yield.
- Oversee liquid filling and packing lines, ensuring filling accuracy, machine performance, line efficiency and minimum rejection/wastage.
- Ensure proper line clearance, cleaning, changeover, equipment readiness and packaging material reconciliation.
- Prepare and execute daily/weekly/monthly production plans in coordination with PPC and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Drive improvement in OEE, yield, productivity, batch cycle time, downtime and rejection.
- Handle deviations, CAPA, change controls, investigations and process-related issues in coordination with QA/QC.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, data integrity, SOPs, BMR/BPR, qualification and validation requirements.
- Lead and develop Production Officers, Executives, Supervisors and Operators, including manpower planning and technical/GMP training.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, Warehouse, PPC, Validation and Projects for smooth production operations.
- Support internal,



customer and regulatory audits/inspections and ensure timely closure of observations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- B.Pharm / M.Pharm preferred; relevant pharmaceutical manufacturing qualifications with strong practical experience may also be considered.

Manager: 812 years of relevant pharmaceutical manufacturing experience. Sr. Manager: 12–18 years of relevant pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.

- Strong hands-on experience in oral liquid manufacturing, filling and packing is highly preferred.
- Experience with syrups, suspensions, solutions, emulsions and associated manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, WHO-GMP, BMR/BPR, SOPs, deviations, CAPA, change control and data integrity.
- Hands-on exposure to liquid filling, bottle washing, capping, induction sealing, labelling and cartoning will be preferred.
- Robust understanding of production planning, OEE, yield, rejection, downtime, manpower productivity and process improvement.
- Experience with process validation, cleaning validation, equipment qualification and maintenance coordination.
- Candidates from WHO-GMP / EU-GMP / PIC/S or other regulated-market pharmaceutical facilities will have an advantage.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, cross-functional coordination and team-management skills.
