Company Overview:

We are a reputed Aerospace manufacturing and precision engineering company located in Bidadi, specializing in the design and machining of high-accuracy aerospace components. We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in SolidCAM to support our design and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and program CNC machining operations using SolidCAM integrated with SolidWorks.
Create tool paths, simulation setups, and G-code for milling and turning operations for aerospace components.
Design and modify 3D models, jigs, fixtures, and tooling as per aerospace standards.
Optimize machining processes to ensure precision, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with production, quality, and design teams to validate CAM programs and ensure manufacturability.




Analyze machining strategies to reduce cycle time and improve surface finish.
Conduct tool selection, cutting parameter optimization, and post-processor verification.
Review engineering drawings and customer specifications for program development.
Troubleshoot machining or programming issues during production.
Maintain proper data management, documentation, and version control of design and CAM files.

Required Skills and Competencies:
Mandatory expertise in SolidCAM (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis programming).
Solid knowledge of SolidWorks for 3D modeling and integration with CAM.
Understanding of aerospace machining processes, materials (Aluminum, Titanium, Inconel, etc.), and tolerances.
Hands-on experience in CNC milling/turning operations and G-code validation.
Ability to interpret GD&T;, engineering drawings, and toolpath simulations.
Familiarity with cutting tools, fixtures, and work-holding design.
