Job Role: Purchase Manager – Electrical & Civil

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and services for construction, infrastructure, industrial, and project-based requirements.
- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and prepare comparative statements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and commercial conditions.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure compliance with approved specifications and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, stores, and accounts teams for procurement requirements.
- Monitor material availability, quality, delivery schedules, and overall procurement costs.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project requirements.
- Maintain proper purchase records, vendor documents, quotations,



and purchase orders.
- Support cost-control initiatives and identify opportunities for better pricing and procurement efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Additional qualification in Purchase / Procurement / Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
- 5–10+ years of experience in electrical procurement / purchase.
- Strong knowledge of electrical materials, brands, specifications, and market pricing.
- Valuable vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/SAP, purchase management systems, and documentation.
- Good communication, coordination, analytical, and decision-making skills.
