- Maintain accurate daily accounting entries, journals, ledgers, vouchers, and financial records.
- Manage hospital revenue accounting, including IPD, OPD, emergency, pharmacy, diagnostics, and other service collections.
- Verify and reconcile patient billing, advances, refunds, discounts, credit notes, and outstanding balances.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices and payment processing.
- Perform daily cash, bank, patient collection, and departmental reconciliation.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with billing, TPA, insurance, corporate, and other concerned departments for timely recovery.
- Verify purchase invoices with Purchase Orders, GRNs, and supporting documents before accounting.
- Maintain vendor ledgers and conduct regular vendor account reconciliation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual MIS and financial reports for management.
- Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, cash-flow statements, budgets, and variance reports.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax,



and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation required for internal, statutory, tax, and external audits.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, vendors, consultants, TPAs, corporate clients, and other external stakeholders.
- Monitor consultant/doctor payments, service charges, incentives, and related accounting entries.
- Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of pharmacy, stores, purchase, and inventory-related transactions.
- Supervise and guide junior accounts staff and ensure adherence to hospital accounting procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, vendor, and hospital financial information.
- Identify accounting discrepancies, investigate variances, and take corrective action with proper approval.
