Assistant Manager Commercial – West Region

Reporting To

Head – Commercial / Zonal Head

Role Purpose

Lead and oversee end-to-end commercial, procurement, contract management, vendor governance, and cost optimization activities across all West Region locations. Ensure compliance, commercial excellence, supplier performance, and timely procurement support for CSR projects, facilities, services, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional procurement and commercial operations across multiple sites.
- Develop and implement sourcing and category management strategies.
- Drive vendor development, evaluation, onboarding, and performance management.
- Lead high-value commercial negotiations and contract finalization.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, Delegation of Powers (DOP), and audit requirements.
- Monitor budgets, commercial risks, cost-saving initiatives,



and value engineering opportunities.
- Oversee SAP procurement processes and procurement MIS reporting.
- Support CSR, Capex, Opex, facility management, and service procurement requirements.
- Mentor and manage regional CSR / procurement team.
- Build strategic supplier partnerships to ensure uninterrupted business operations.

Experience
- 10 to 12 years
of relevant experience in Procurement, Commercial, Contracts, Supply Chain, or Strategic Sourcing.
- Experience in NGO, Infrastructure, Facility Management, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Services sectors preferred.
- Proven experience in handling multi-location procurement and commercial management.

Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
