The Restaurant Kitchen Order Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring food orders between the restaurant’s front-of-house team, kitchen, delivery/takeaway operations, and other relevant departments. The role ensures that orders are received accurately, prepared on time, properly communicated, and dispatched or served according to restaurant standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and coordinate dine-in, takeaway, delivery, and online food orders.
- Ensure all orders are entered and communicated accurately to the kitchen team.
- Monitor order preparation and prioritize orders according to required serving or dispatch times.
- Coordinate effectively between kitchen staff, waitstaff, cashiers, delivery teams, and management.
- Check orders for accuracy, completeness, presentation, and special customer requests before dispatch or service.
- Track delayed, modified, cancelled, or urgent orders and communicate changes promptly.
- Monitor kitchen order flow during busy periods and help maintain smooth operations.
- Ensure special instructions, allergies,



dietary requirements, and modifications are clearly communicated to the kitchen.
- Coordinate with inventory or purchasing staff when an item is unavailable or running low.
- Inform the relevant team when menu items are unavailable and help prevent incorrect orders.
- Maintain accurate order records and assist with resolving order-related customer complaints.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and restaurant operating procedures.
- Support the kitchen and service teams during peak hours as required.
- Prepare basic order and operational reports when requested by management.
- Maintain qualified communication and teamwork at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or food-service environment is preferred.
- Good knowledge of kitchen and restaurant operations.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work efficiently
