Job Summary

We are looking for a Design & Costing Engineer with hands-on experience in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, sheet-metal fabrication, and engineering costing. The candidate should be capable of independently handling design, drawings, BOM preparation, estimation, and costing activities.

Key Responsibilities
Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Understand customer requirements and prepare fabrication-ready designs.
Prepare BOMs, material requirements, and costing sheets.
Estimate material, fabrication, machining, welding, laser cutting, bending, and finishing costs.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and material optimization.
Coordinate with production, purchase, and vendors as required.
Resolve design and drawing-related issues during production.





Mandatory Skills
SolidWorks & AutoCAD
2D drafting and 3D modelling
Sheet-metal design and fabrication knowledge
Understanding of laser cutting, bending, welding, machining, and powder coating
Material estimation, BOM preparation, and product costing
Valuable knowledge of engineering drawings and MS Excel
Ability to work independently and handle projects with minimal supervision.
