Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the finance and accounting department.
Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Oversee daily accounting operations, including:
General ledger and journal entries
Accounts payable and receivable
Bank reconciliations
Payroll accounting
Fixed assets and inventory accounting
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and fund requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate tax filings, audits, statutory audits, and internal audits.
Develop and maintain effective financial controls and risk-management procedures.
Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.
Monitor costs, profitability, expenses, and financial efficiency.
Support business planning, investment decisions, pricing, and strategic initiatives.
Ensure accurate and timely MIS and management reporting.




Review contracts, commercial transactions, and financial commitments.
Liaise with auditors, banks, tax consultants, regulators, and other external stakeholders.
Implement and improve accounting systems, ERP processes, and finance automation.
Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the finance and accounts team.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Qualified qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
Typically 8–12 years of relevant experience, including managerial or leadership experience.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit procedures.
Experience with ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar.
