KEY RESULT AREAS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and Engineering
Develop MEP system designs and specifications in compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Ensure designed MEP system is cost-effective as well as operationally effective.
Review architectural and structural plans to ensure coordination and integration of MEP systems with MEP consultants (if any). Specifically identify and resolve MEP-related issues during the design, construction, and occupancy phases of projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate different design options for MEP systems.
Prepare and present technical reports, calculations, and drawings related to MEP systems to management for approval (ensuring systems are cost-effective and easy to execute/perform).
System Management
Supervise and coordinate the operation, maintenance, and repair of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems within the commercial mall, including HVAC, lighting, power distribution, water supply, and drainage systems.




Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of MEP systems, minimizing downtime and disruptions to mall operations.
Monitor system performance, energy consumption, and operational efficiency, implementing measures to optimize performance and reduce operating costs.
Project Management
Collaborate with project teams including architects, contractors, vendors, and consultants to develop project plans and schedules.
Coordinate and manage the implementation of MEP systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks/issues, and develop mitigation strategies. Flag any delays or quality compromises to the reporting authority immediately while actively resolving them through respective personel.
Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
