Role & responsibilities

Design Leadership & Ownership

- Lead concept design, space planning, design development, and detailing for commercial office and luxury residential projects
- Define and maintain design benchmarks, style standards, and documentation quality across projects
- Ensure all designs are practical, cost-aware, and aligned with execution realities in Hyderabad
- Review and approve all layout plans, 3D visuals, material boards, and final design packages

Client Engagement & Design Management

- Act as the single-point design lead for homeowners, from first design meeting to final sign-off
- Conduct design presentations, walkthroughs, and material discussions with clients
- Translate client lifestyle needs, budget expectations, and aesthetic preferences into clear, buildable designs
- Manage design-related client expectations, revisions, and approvals professionally
- Build trust and long-term credibility as a design advisor, not just a designer

Modular Expertise

- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of modular kitchen systems

Materials, Finishes & Market Knowledge

- Maintain up-to-date, hands-on knowledge of the latest residential interior materials.
- Advise clients on durability, maintenance, climate suitability, and budget impact
- Ensure material specifications are execution-safe and locally available

Technical Coordination & Design Documentation

- Review and approve GFC drawings, joinery details, lighting layouts, and reflected ceiling plans
- Provide design inputs for BOQs, ensuring alignment with design intent

Team Leadership & Mentorship

- Lead, mentor, and upskill designers and junior architects
- Assign projects, review outputs, and maintain accountability for design timelines
- Conduct regular design reviews and feedback sessions
- Build a strong, process-driven, design-led culture within the residential team

Key Skills Required

- Strong commercial and residential design sensibility suited to Hyderabad clientele
- Excellent client communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
- Ability to balance aesthetics, budget awareness, and execution practicality
- Deep understanding of modular kitchens, wardrobes, and residential joinery
- Solid team leadership, coordination, and decision-making skills

Technical Skills

- AutoCAD (mandatory)

- SketchUp / Revit
- V-Ray / Enscape (preferred)
- MS Excel / Google Sheets

- Strong knowledge of

- Residential joinery detailing

- Lighting layouts
- MEP coordination from a design perspective
