SENIOR HR EXECUTIVE
Job Summary
Responsible for managing and coordinating end-to-end HR operations while supporting recruitment, employee lifecycle management, performance management, payroll coordination, HR policies, employee relations, compliance, and HR reporting. The role involves independently managing day-to-day HR processes and working closely with management to ensure effective implementation of HR policies and practices.
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned positions.
- Understand hiring requirements and prepare or update job descriptions.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, and other recruitment channels.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate screening calls.
- Coordinate technical and management interviews.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and provide regular hiring status updates.
- Coordinate offer issuance, negotiations, and joining formalities.
- Maintain a candidate pipeline for current and future hiring requirements.
2. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage employee lifecycle activities from onboarding through separation.
- Coordinate pre-joining documentation and verification requirements.
- Prepare and issue offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, and other HR documents.
- Conduct or coordinate employee onboarding and induction.
- Ensure employee records and personnel files are complete and up to date.
- Manage employee transfers, role changes, confirmations, and other employment-related documentation.
- Coordinate exit formalities, offboarding, and exit documentation.
3. HR Operations
- Independently manage day-to-day HR operations.
- Maintain employee master data and HR databases.
- Develop and maintain HR trackers, reports, and MIS.
- Handle employee HR queries and coordinate timely resolution.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of employee information.
- Standardize and improve HR processes to improve operational efficiency.
4. Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor and manage employee attendance and working hours.
- Maintain leave records and ensure adherence to company leave policies.
- Review attendance discrepancies, absenteeism, late attendance, and leave exceptions.
- Prepare monthly attendance and leave reports.
- Coordinate with employees and managers to resolve attendance-related issues.
5. Payroll Coordination
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with the Accounts or Payroll team.
- Consolidate attendance, leave, deductions, incentives, and other payroll-related information.
- Review payroll inputs for accuracy before submission.
- Resolve discrepancies related to attendance, leave, deductions, and payroll inputs.
- Maintain payroll-related HR records and reports.
6. Performance Management
- Coordinate employee performance review cycles.
- Assist managers in setting and tracking employee KPIs and performance objectives.
- Develop and maintain performance review templates and evaluation trackers.
- Coordinate probation reviews and employee confirmation processes.
- Maintain performance records and identify performance-related concerns.
- Support managers in implementing performance improvement plans where required.
7. HR Policies, SOPs & Processes
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies and SOPs in coordination with management.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the Employee Handbook.
- Ensure employees understand and follow HR policies and procedures.
- Review HR processes periodically and recommend improvements.
- Maintain standardized HR documentation and workflows.
8. Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employee HR-related concerns.
- Handle routine employee grievances and workplace concerns professionally.
- Maintain effective communication between employees and management.
- Support managers in addressing employee performance, attendance, conduct, and workplace issues.
- Escalate sensitive or complex employee-relations matters to senior management when required.
9. HR Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain employee records and statutory or compliance-related documentation.
- Support compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
- Ensure required employee documents are collected and maintained.
- Coordinate with management or external consultants regarding HR compliance requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for employee-related actions and decisions.
10. HR Reporting & MIS
- Prepare periodic HR reports and MIS.
- Track recruitment metrics, employee headcount, attendance, leave, attrition, and other HR KPIs.
- Maintain HR dashboards and Excel-based reports.
- Provide management with accurate HR data to support decision-making.
- Identify trends and operational issues from HR data and highlight them to management.
11. Employee Engagement
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and internal HR initiatives.
- Conduct employee feedback and engagement surveys where required.
- Support initiatives related to employee satisfaction, retention, and workplace culture.
- Coordinate HR meetings, announcements, training sessions, and employee communications.
12. Management Support
- Provide HR-related information and reports to management.
- Support management in workforce planning and hiring decisions.
- Assist in developing HR processes aligned with business requirements.
- Participate in HR projects and process-improvement initiatives.
- Maintain professional and confidential relationships with employees and management.

Typical Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR is an advantage.
- Typically 24 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Generalist, Recruitment, or a related HR function.
- Practical experience managing multiple HR processes independently.
- Solid knowledge of HR operations, employee lifecycle, recruitment, and HR documentation.
- UK HR experience is required, preferably with hands-on exposure to UK employment practices, HR operations, or UK-based employees.
Salary 3LPA – 5LPA, depending on experience, skills, and suitability for the role.
