Role: Technical Lead / Senior Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead / Senior Full Stack Engineer to take technical ownership of the systems and interfaces powering our data platform.

The role involves designing and developing scalable backend services, APIs, databases, data integrations, dashboards, and internal applications. You will contribute to architecture decisions, establish engineering standards, mentor developers, and remain hands-on throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Own solutions end-to-end from requirements, architecture and design through development, deployment and production support.
- Design and develop scalable backend services and RESTful/event-driven APIs using C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core.
- Design and optimize relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including schemas, queries, indexes, transactions and migrations.
- Integrate applications with modern data platforms, data warehouses and lakehouse environments.
- Work with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse or similar data and analytics platforms.
- Develop and support ETL/ELT, batch and streaming data integration workflows.
- Contribute to frontend architecture and development using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Vue, Blazor or similar technologies.
- Design systems for performance, scalability, resilience and reliability.
- Establish automated unit, integration and end-to-end testing practices.
- Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews and code reviews.
- Mentor engineers and help improve coding, testing and engineering standards.
- Work closely with product managers,



business stakeholders and engineering teams to communicate technical decisions and trade-offs.
- Support cloud deployments, CI/CD, monitoring, observability and production incident investigation.

Required Skills

- Strong experience with C#, .NET and ASP.NET Core.
- Strong experience building REST APIs and/or event-driven systems.
- Positive understanding of distributed systems, system design, scalability and reliability.
- Strong PostgreSQL or relational database experience.
- Experience with data warehouses, lakehouses or analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT, batch and streaming data processing.
- Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS and modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, deployment, monitoring and observability.
- Strong experience with unit, integration and end-to-end testing.
- Proven experience in technical leadership, mentoring and architecture/design decisions.
