Role & responsibilities
Operations & Service Management
Oversee daily operations across cloud, infrastructure, and application settings.
Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of critical systems.
Manage incident, problem, and change management processes.
Drive root-cause analysis (RCA) and permanent fixes for recurring issues.
Team Leadership & People Management
Lead and mentor L1/L2/L3 engineering teams.
Manage workforce planning, shift schedules, and resource utilization.
Conduct performance reviews and training for continuous skill improvement.
Process Governance & Compliance
Maintain operational SOPs, runbooks, and process documentation.
Ensure compliance with ISO, SOC, ITIL, security, and audit requirements.
Implement process automation and best practices to improve operational maturity.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Act as the escalation point for internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate with cloud providers, OEMs, and service partners.
Manage vendor SLAs and ensure timely delivery of services.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation
Drive automation initiatives for operational efficiency (e.g., scripts, workflows).
Implement monitoring, observability, and operational tooling enhancements.
Contribute to digital transformation and cloud modernization roadmaps.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
10+ years of experience in IT operations, cloud operations, or infrastructure.
Robust understanding of Azure/AWS/GCP, virtualization, networking, and security.
Hands-on with ITIL frameworks; ITIL certification preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, and decisionmaking capabilities
Experience managing large-scale cloud/hybrid environments.
Certification in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS Solutions Architect, etc.).
