SWIFT Messaging & Payments Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced
SWIFT Messaging & Payments Support Engineer
with robust expertise in SWIFT payments, messaging gateways, Unix environments, and production support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SWIFT connectivity applications, SWIFT message flows, payment journey concepts, and Linux/Unix-based environments. The role involves supporting critical payment systems, troubleshooting production issues, stakeholder communication, and ensuring seamless transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities
Support and manage SWIFT payment processing applications and messaging infrastructure.
Handle SWIFT message types, payment lifecycle management, and transaction troubleshooting.
Work on SWIFT connectivity applications such as
SNL (SWIFTNet Link)
.
Provide support for SWIFT messaging gateways, preferably
GTExchange
.
Monitor application and infrastructure health in Unix/RHEL environments.
Analyze logs,



troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
Write and execute PL/SQL queries for data validation and issue resolution.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations teams, and external vendors.
Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
Work within Agile environments using Jira or similar task management tools.
Participate in release deployments, testing, and change management activities.

Mandatory Skills
Robust experience in
SWIFT Payments Domain
(SWIFT message types and payment journey concepts).
Hands-on experience with
SWIFTNet Link (SNL)
.
Experience in
Unix Shell Scripting
.
Expert-level knowledge of
Unix Commands
.
Experience working in
RHEL/Linux settings
.
Good understanding of
Oracle Database concepts
.
Ability to write and analyze
PL/SQL queries
.
Experience with
Jira
or other Agile/ALM too
