Plant HR & Administration Manager

Location: Dhaniyakhali, West Bengal

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced HR & Administration qualified to independently manage the HR and administrative functions of our manufacturing plant at Dhaniyakhali. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth employee management, statutory compliance, manpower coordination, discipline, and overall plant administration.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day HR & Administration activities of the plant.
Handle manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, attendance, shifts, leave, and employee records.
Manage contract labour/workmen, including deployment, attendance, discipline, and coordination with contractors.
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, registers, and records.
Coordinate PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Labour Welfare, and other statutory compliances.
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, counselling, and conflict resolution.
Coordinate with plant HODs for manpower requirements and workforce planning.




Maintain proper HR documentation, personnel files, attendance and payroll-related data.
Support implementation of company policies, SOPs, HR processes, and employee welfare initiatives.
Manage plant administration including security, housekeeping, canteen, transport, uniforms, facilities, and other support services.
Coordinate with government authorities, labour department, inspectors, and other external agencies when required.
Ensure proper implementation of employee discipline, attendance, grooming, safety, and workplace policies.
Organise induction, training, engagement activities, and statutory training at the plant.
Prepare and submit regular HR MIS and manpower reports to management.
Ensure smooth coordination between Plant Management and Head Office HR.

Candidate Profile
10+ years of relevant experience in HR & Administration, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial workplace
