Business Development Manager Enterprise Infrastructure / HCI Sales

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive enterprise and government business for HCI, private cloud, virtualization, servers, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and data-center solutions.

This is not a pure software/SaaS sales role. Candidates must have experience selling or handling enterprise IT infrastructure solutions and be comfortable engaging with customers, partners, pre-sales teams, and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Develop recent business across Enterprise, Government, PSU, BFSI, Healthcare, Education and Manufacturing sectors.
Generate leads through partners, system integrators, OEM relationships, events, cold outreach, and account mining.
Sell HCI, private cloud, virtualization, server, storage, backup, DR and infrastructure solutions.




Understand customer requirements and work with pre-sales teams on proposals, BOMs, demos, POCs and solution positioning.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
Build relationships with CIOs, IT Heads, Infrastructure Heads, Data Centre Managers, Procurement teams and SI partners.
Track tenders, RFPs, partner-led opportunities and renewals.
Maintain CRM, pipeline and accurate sales forecasts.
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Must-Have Experience
4–8 years of B2B sales/business development experience in IT infrastructure.
Experience in one or more of: Servers, Storage, Virtualization, HCI, Cloud, Backup, DR or Data Centre solutions.
Exposure to technologies/OEMs such as Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V, Veeam, Commvault, NetApp or equivalent.
Basic understanding of servers, storage, virtualization, clusters, HA, backup, DR and private cloud.
