Job Description Senior Software Engineer (.NET Core Backend)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with robust expertise in .NET Core backend development to join our engineering team supporting the development of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable backend applications while collaborating with frontend developers, architects, QA engineers, and product stakeholders in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing enterprise-grade applications, RESTful APIs, database design, and delivering high-quality software through Agile sprint execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
- Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs and backend services.




- Implement business logic and backend components for enterprise applications.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, and solution architecture discussions.
- Collaborate with React.js frontend developers for seamless API integration.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Develop unit tests and support integration testing activities.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and code repositories.
- Ensure timely delivery of sprint commitments with high-quality code and minimal defects.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- 5–8 years of software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET C
