JOB TITLE: NDE Technician/Operators

REPORTING TO: Manager NDE

1. Purpose:

Job description is a part of Company Quality Policies and Procedures.

This standard defines the tasks and responsibilities of the NDE Technician/Operators for TEMA India Ltd in the Kherdi Works.

This standard is valid for all employees associated with this role.

2. General:

The NDE Technician/Operators (ASNT Level-II) is responsible for carrying Non Destructive Examination by various NDE methods in which he is qualified at Kherdi Works in accordance with Codes, Standards and Customer Specifications as per companys Quality Policy, procedures and work instructions for customized and standard equipment.

3. Tasks and Responsibilities:





The NDE Technician/Operators shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

NDE Operation
- Keep the NDE apparatus in useable condition all the time.
- Attend offered NDE stages and availability of NDE results well in time to shop
- Inform to Manager NDE regarding condition & calibration of the machines well in time.
- Prepare NDE reports as needed.
- NDE operator shall be aware of UT of weld, Parent metal of carbon steel, stainless steel, Duplex steel & Inconel material.
