Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Mechanical Design to lead the mechanical design team and manage end-to-end design activities for conveyor and material handling projects. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in mechanical design, project execution, team leadership, and customer coordination.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design activities for conveyor and material handling projects.
- Review customer requirements, specifications, layouts, and technical documents.
- Develop concept designs, detailed drawings, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
- Plan and allocate design resources to ensure timely project completion.
- Coordinate with Project Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Automation, and Site teams.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Mechanical Design Engineers.




- Review designs for quality, accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with standards.
- Drive design standardization, value engineering, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in customer technical discussions and resolve design-related queries.
- Support sales teams during technical proposals and customer presentations.
- Ensure proper engineering documentation, revision control, and ISO compliance.
- Support installation, commissioning, and project execution when required.
