Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior DevNet Engineer (Vendor Resource) to lead the design, development, and delivery of network automation and application platforms within a large-scale enterprise setting. This role requires solid ownership, accountability, and delivery focus, working closely with Morgan Stanley teams to transform network operations through automation, software engineering, and platform integration. The engineer will contribute to building scalable, resilient, and production-grade automation solutions aligned with enterprise standards and delivery milestones.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Engineering & Delivery
Design and implement network automation solutions for:
Configuration management
Provisioning workflows
Monitoring, validation, and reporting
Develop automation scripts, tools, and reusable frameworks using Python and Ansible
Deliver automation across the full lifecycle:
Build Test Release Operate
Ensure high-quality, production-ready deliverables aligned to milestone commitments
Platform Development & Integration
Build and enhance applications and tools supporting:
Network visibility and operational analytics
Workflow orchestration and automation pipelines
Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems:
Monitoring platforms
Ticketing systems
CMDB / inventory systems
Ensure seamless interoperability with existing infrastructure
Testing, Validation & Reliability
Implement automated validation frameworks for network changes and configurations
Perform testing to ensure reliability, stability, and performance of automation solutions
Support introduction of CI/CD pipelines for network and automation changes
Enhance observability through telemetry, reporting, and dashboards
Scale & Standardization
Expand automation coverage across:
Data center, WAN, and enterprise network environments
Multi-vendor infrastructure
Standardize reusable automation modules, frameworks, and c
