Job Purpose

The purpose of the job is to conduct assessment of credit risk amongst the corporate debt investment portfolio for both the existing and new/incremental investments in order to enable the debt fund team to optimise fund performance. The role will also be responsible for updating the fund management team on key macro economic variables.

The role will also be responsible for updating the fund management team on key macro economic variables.

Job Challenges: • Effectively monitoring a large and diversified portfolio given the constraints of manpower and time.




Giving quality credit calls in very dynamic setting where domestic and global economy is changing very fast.

Conducting credit risk analysis for new corporate debt investment proposals thereby enhancing the coverage of the approved debt universe.
Interact with the investee company ‘s management
Preparing credit risk research report on the company
Ensure compliance with internal as well as IRDA norms
Debt Universe amongst manufacturing sector has increased from 30 companies in March 2009 to 64 companies as on March 2012.
Recent inclusions to the debt universe is backed by in depth research on fundamentals of companies, industry competitiveness, domestic and global demand supply scenario, external risk factors, various
