Role & responsibilities
Layout preparation, checking of designs, Design review with customers (Internal and external), Mechanical and electrical design interface, Design optimisation, 765kV tenders, Mechanical design plan, Team development for 765kV products, Interface with suppliers.
To design and develop a cost optimised product which is easy to manufacture. Future team development.
To meet budgeted financial parameters, customer satisfaction and optimisation for future market share.
Reporting customer document approval status and issues and corrective action taken.
Reporting design related issues in manufacturing, site services and corrective action taken.
Discussion on critical decisions related to customer and financial matters.
Design and development plan discussion.
Mechanical design plan discussion.
