Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer / Senior Manager – Estimation, Costing, Contracts & Billing with 10+ years of experience in the construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for project estimation, costing, contract administration, tendering, quantity surveying, contractor/client billing, cost control and commercial management.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed estimates, BOQs, quantity take-offs and cost projections.
- Review drawings, specifications, tender documents and contract conditions.
- Conduct rate analysis and prepare competitive project estimates.
- Manage contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Review and negotiate work orders, subcontract agreements and contracts.
- Handle contractor/subcontractor billing, RA bills and final bills.
- Verify site measurements, quantities, rates and supporting documents.
- Prepare and review client RA bills and ensure timely submission and certification.
- Manage variations, extra items, deviations and claims.
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets and identify cost overruns.
- Support tendering, commercial negotiations and subcontractor finalization.
- Coordinate with Site, Project, Purchase, Planning and Accounts teams.
- Monitor contractual obligations, payment terms and commercial commitments.
- Maintain records of contracts, bills, measurements, variations and claims.
- Prepare costing,



billing and commercial MIS reports for management.
- Support project teams in resolving contractual and commercial issues.
- Ensure effective cost control and commercial management throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Estimation, Costing, Contracts & Billing.
- Excellent understanding of BOQ, Quantity Take-off, Rate Analysis and Quantity Surveying.
- Solid knowledge of RA Bills, Final Bills, Measurement Sheets and Contract Administration.
- Experience in contract negotiation, variations, claims and commercial settlements.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, specifications and execution practices.
- Excellent command of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to read construction drawings.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and commercial skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
- Ability to independently handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Educational Qualification B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Experience

10+ years of relevant experience in Estimation, Costing, Contracts, Quantity Surveying and Billing, preferably with reputed construction, real estate or infrastructure companies.

Candidates with experience in residential, commercial and large-scale construction projects will be preferred.
