Role Description The Senior Buyer (Retail Industry - 6 LPA) will be responsible for end-to-end buying activities, including vendor selection, product assortment planning, and price negotiations aligned with company margin and sales targets. This full-time on-site role, based in Bengaluru, involves monitoring market trends, analyzing sales data, and identifying new products and brands that fit the company’s positioning.

The Senior

Buyer will manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and collaborate closely with merchandising, store operations, and finance teams to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize aged inventory. The role also includes conducting regular performance reviews of categories,



preparing reports on pricing and profitability, and supporting promotional planning and seasonal buying strategies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, forecast demand, and make informed buying decisions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce stock-outs, and manage slow-moving items.
- Candidates should possess Purchasing and Retail Buying skills to handle negotiations, sourcing, assortment planning, and vendor management.
- Relevant experience of 4–7 years in retail buying or merchandising, preferably in fashion, FMCG, or multi-category retail.
- Strong understanding of retail pricing, margins, and category management, with proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Retail Management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in supply chain or retail is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within timelines in a fast-paced retail environment.
