Automation Tools & Technologies
Playwright – UI automation, cross-browser testing, fixtures, assertions, Page Object Model (POM), tracing, screenshots, and reporting.
Selenium WebDriver – experience with web automation is an added advantage.
API Automation – Postman, Newman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
JavaScript / TypeScript – scripting for Playwright automation.
CI/CD Tools – Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
Version Control – Git / GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket.
Test Management & Defect Tracking – Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar.
Performance Testing – JMeter or similar tools is an advantage.
BDD Frameworks – Cucumber or similar frameworks is an advantage.
Database Testing – SQL-based validation and backend data verification.
Updated Key Skills
Must Have:
4–6 years of QA/testing experience
Robust Backend & API Testing
Hands-on Playwright automation
Positive JavaScript/TypeScript
API testing using Postman/Newman or REST Assured
Positive SQL
Experience with Jira and Git
Understanding of CI/CD automation
