Senior ASM (GT)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Asst Sales Manager – General Trade (GT) to drive sales growth, distribution expansion, and market development across Karnataka. The ideal candidate should have robust FMCG sales experience, proven team-handling capabilities, and a solid understanding of primary and secondary sales.

Key Responsibilities
Drive primary and secondary sales across the assigned markets and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Manage and expand the General Trade (GT) network across Karnataka.
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve business objectives and improve productivity.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key market stakeholders.
Identify and appoint new distributors to strengthen the distribution network.
Drive market expansion by identifying new territories, outlets, and business prospects.
Plan and execute brand promotion, visibility, BTL, and market activation activities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities,



pricing, distribution, and product availability.
Ensure effective beat planning, outlet coverage, merchandising, and sales execution.
Analyse sales performance and prepare regular reports, forecasts, and action plans.
Ensure optimum stock availability and effective inventory management across the distribution network.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales and marketing initiatives.

Candidate Requirements
Experience: Relevant experience in FMCG Sales, preferably in General Trade.
Market Knowledge: Strong experience and market understanding across Karnataka.
Proven experience in team handling and sales team management.
Solid understanding of primary and secondary sales.
Experience in distributor appointment and distributor management.
Demonstrated ability in market expansion and business development.
Experience in executing brand promot
