Brief of Role : The Grants & Financial Reporting Officer will be responsible for financial management of donor-funded projects, budgeting, grant monitoring, utilization reporting, donor compliance, and management reporting. The role requires close coordination with Program Teams, Finance, Auditors, and Donor/CSR partners to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with Donor requirements.

Relationship (within organization) : Manager & Program Leads

Relationship (Outside Organization) : Donor Officials/Auditors/Bankers/Statutory Authorities, etc.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
Excellent Budgeting and Grant management skills.
Knowledge of donor compliance requirements and project accounting.
Working knowledge of CSR-funded projects and development sector financial reporting.
Familiarity with FCRA accounting and reporting will be an added advantage.
Valuable understanding of statutory compliances- TDS, GST, and Income Tax provisions applicable to NGOs.




Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced), Tally Prime/ERP, and Microsoft Office.
Robust analytical, documentation, communication, and coordination skills.

Experience in managing multiple grants simultaneously.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting reporting deadlines.

Preparation and presentation of MIS Reports

Key Responsibilities
Prepare project budgets, annual budgets, and budget revisions in coordination with Program Teams.
Monitor grant-wise budgets, expenditures, commitments, and fund utilization
Prepare donor-wise Utilization Certificates (UCs), Statements of Expenditure (SoE), financial reports, and supporting schedules.
Coordinate with Statutory Auditors/Internal Auditors f
