About the Role
Foodsure is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern who wants to build a career in
B2B sales, business development, CRM management, and the FMCG industry. The intern will get hands-on
exposure to lead generation, client handling, sales processes, and business operations in a growing FMCG and food
& beverage environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify new business leads through LinkedIn, calls, emails, online research, and other channels.
- Identify potential FMCG brands, food & beverage companies, startups, and business clients.
- Manage and regularly update the CRM system, ensuring accurate lead and client information.
- Track leads, follow-ups, meetings, proposals, and conversion status in the CRM.
- Communicate with prospective clients to understand their requirements.




- Conduct regular follow-ups with leads and maintain professional client relationships.
- Assist the BD team in preparing proposals, presentations, quotations, and client communication.
- Coordinate with R&D;, marketing, and other internal teams regarding client requirements.
- Maintain daily/weekly reports of business development activities.
- Support the team throughout the sales cycle, from lead generation to conversion.
- Research FMCG market trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities.
- Participate in client meetings and business discussions to gain practical industry exposure.
- Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed BBA, MBA, B.Com, Food Technology, or a related degree.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools, MS Excel, Google Sheets, and MS Office.
- Strong interest in Business Development, Sales, and FMCG.
- Positive research, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
