Key Responsibilities: Distribution Channel Development
- Identify and appoint new distributors across assigned territories.
- Create and expand retail distribution network including:
- Kirana stores
- Supermarkets
- Hotels & restaurants
- Event organizers
- Institutions & industrial units
- Develop mass-market sales channels for high-volume movement.
- Ensure proper territory mapping and market coverage.
Sales & Volume Growth
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Drive volume sales of:
- 0.5 L bottles
- 1 L bottles
- 2 L bottles
- Monitor primary and secondary sales performance.
- Implement schemes and trade promotions to boost sales.
Distributor Management
- Negotiate commercial terms with distributors.
- Ensure timely payment collections and credit control.
- Monitor distributor stock levels and replenishment cycles.
- Maintain distributor ROI and motivate for higher lifting.
Retail Activation & Branding
- Conduct retail visits and product placement.
- Ensure visibility, branding, and POS material deployment.
- Coordinate promotional activities and sampling campaigns.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market trends.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Submit daily sales reports and weekly market updates.
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and schemes.
- Provide feedback on demand forecasting and stock planning.
- Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Monthly volume growth (in cases / cartons)
- Number of new distributors appointed
- Number of active retailers added
- Collection efficiency
- Market coverage ratio
- Distributor sales growth
Qualification:
- Graduate in Marketing / Business / Commerce preferred
- MBA (Marketing) preferred but not mandatory
Experience:
- 3–7 years of experience in FMCG / Beverage / Packaged Water / Distribution Sales
- Strong experience in creating and managing distribution channels
- Experience in mass-volume FMCG products preferred
