Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Power Electronics Intern to join our R&D; team. This role focuses on the design, simulation, and development of power electronic converters and control systems. It is ideal for students or fresh graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience by working on live projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design and simulation of power electronic converter topologies, such as buck converters, boost converters, and inverters, using MATLAB/Simulink.
Support the development and testing of closed-loop control algorithms for motor drives and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
Contribute to embedded firmware development for DSP controllers, particularly the TI C2000 family, under the guidance of senior engineers.
Participate in hardware bring-up, testing, and debugging of power electronic prototypes.
Document design iterations, test results, and technical findings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PCB, Mechanical, and Testing teams, to support integrated system development.
Assist in preparing technical reports and presentations for internal reviews.
Requirements
B.Tech, M.Tech, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (pursuing or completed).
Specialization in Power Electronics is preferred.
Strong understanding of power converter design, control techniques, and modulation strategies.
Proficiency in simulation and control design using MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent platforms.
Experience with embedded programming in C/C++ for DSP controllers, such as the TI C2000 family.
