Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Grinding Supervisor to supervise grinding operations, manpower, production targets and quality requirements. The candidate should have robust hands-on experience in Cylindrical Grinding / Centerless Grinding / ID & OD Grinding and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day grinding production activities.
Plan and allocate manpower according to production requirements.
Monitor production targets, productivity and machine utilization.
Handle Cylindrical, Centerless, ID & OD Grinding operations.
Ensure proper machine setting, tool selection and process parameters.
Monitor component quality and dimensional accuracy.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Production teams.
Identify and reduce rejection, rework and machine downtime.




Ensure adherence to production schedules and customer requirements.
Conduct shift-wise production monitoring and reporting.
Maintain 5S, safety and housekeeping standards in the shop floor.
Train and guide operators and setters.
Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and work instructions.

Required Skills
Positive knowledge of grinding machines and grinding processes.
Knowledge of ID / OD / Cylindrical / Centerless Grinding.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances.
Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge and Gauges.
Production planning and manpower handling skills.
Knowledge of quality standards and rejection control.
Valuable problem-solving and team-management skills.

Qualification

Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering or related discipline.

Experience

5–10 years of relevant experience in Grinding / Precision Engineering / Automo
