B2B SALES MANAGER – PRECISION PRODUCT MANUFACTURING

Job Purpose

To drive B2B sales and business development for precision-manufactured products through robust technical understanding, solution selling, recent customer acquisition, key account management and market development.

This is a technical sales role requiring the candidate to independently understand customer requirements, participate in technical discussions and convert technical opportunities into business.

Key Responsibilities
Develop new B2B customers across industrial, engineering, automotive, OEM and allied manufacturing sectors.
Identify new markets, customers and business opportunities through market mapping, references, exhibitions, customer visits and networking.
Manage existing customers and increase repeat business, customer retention and share of business.




Understand engineering drawings, product specifications, tolerances, materials, manufacturing processes, machining processes and customer application requirements.
Independently participate in technical discussions with customer Purchase, Engineering, Design, Quality and Production teams.
Understand customer technical requirements and coordinate with internal Design, Production and Quality teams to develop appropriate solutions.
Identify prospects for product development, alternate applications and value-added solutions.
Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial and technical terms and convert enquiries into orders.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate monthly/quarterly sales forecasts.
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales, order booking and margin targets.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores and Dispatch to ensure customer commitments are met.
