Senior Lead Associate Finance Controllership – 6–8 Years – Pune

We are hiring a Senior Lead Associate – Finance Controllership – 6–8 Years for a leading finance and consulting organization. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Finance Controllership, Accounting, Bookkeeping, Financial Reporting, FP&A;, Taxation, Audit, Statutory Compliance, Client Management, and Team Collaboration who can independently support multiple clients as a Virtual Finance Controller.

Location – Pune

Your Future Employer – A leading finance and consulting organization providing outsourced Finance Controllership, Accounting, Bookkeeping, Management Reporting, FP&A;, and compliance services to FDI entities operating in India and the UAE.

Responsibilities –

1. Manage accounting records and ensure accurate monthly closure of books and timely MIS reporting.
2. Prepare and review financial statements, tax audit reports, income tax calculations, and other financial deliverables.
3. Ensure timely completion of audits and adherence to applicable statutory and regulatory compliances.
4. Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships through proactive communication and periodic governance.
5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client requirements.
6. Support process improvement and digital transformation initiatives to enhance finance operations and service delivery.

Requirements –

1. Commerce Graduate with 6–8 years of relevant experience.
2. Strong knowledge of IGAAP, accounting, financial reporting, and financial statement preparation.
3. Working knowledge of Transfer Pricing, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Company Law, and FEMA.
4. Strong experience in audit, taxation, statutory compliance, and month-end closure.
5. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, along with Tally or other accounting software.
6.



Strong client handling, communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
