Job Purpose

To manage day-to-day accounting, financial transactions, reconciliations, statutory compliance, payroll-related accounting and MIS activities while ensuring accuracy, timely reporting and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions including AP, AR, journal entries, cash and bank transactions.
Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure proper accounting documentation.
Prepare and review bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliations.
Handle GST, TDS and other statutory accounting/compliance activities.
Support monthly closing, provisions, accruals and preparation of financial reports.
Prepare MIS reports, expense statements, ageing reports and management reports.
Verify vendor invoices, supporting documents, purchase orders and payment requests.
Coordinate with vendors, customers, procurement, HR and other departments for financial matters.
Support payroll accounting, salary reconciliation and statutory deductions.
Monitor outstanding receivables/payables and follow up for timely closure.




Assist in internal, statutory and tax audits and provide required documents/data.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies, SOPs and internal controls.
Maintain proper records of invoices, vouchers, bills, tax documents and other financial records.
Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
Support budgeting, cost monitoring and financial analysis as required.

Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Accounting principles, GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
Positive working knowledge of ERP/SAP/Tally and MS Excel.
Solid skills in reconciliation, MIS and financial reporting.
Analytical and problem-solving ability.
Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
Positive communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification

Essential: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent quali
